Loom Room - Hand-spun Throw - Red Berry
Loom Room - Hand-spun Throw - Red Berry
Loom Room’s throws are woven in New Zealand on traditional floor looms to the full width of our looms (approximately 110cm) and long enough (approximately 200cm) to envelope yourself on a cold afternoon. The weft is hand dyed New Zealand wool and hand spun using blends of colours evocative of our natural environment. The wool used in the hand spun weft comes from sheep living on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Each throw ends up being a unique colour as different proportions of coloured fleece are carefully mixed in quantities enough for only one throw.
This ‘Red Berry’ throw has a red possum/merino warp with the hand spun weft a blend of raspberry reds and shades of ripe grapes and guava pinks.
These throws have warps made from a possum/wool blended warp and hand dyed, hand spun weft from sheep farmed in Colville, New Zealand. They are then hand woven to produce lovely throws for your living area that are perfect to snuggle under with a good book or a Netflix session.
$15 from the sale of this item is donated to ‘The Colville Project’ initiative.
